My goal is to keep you informed and understand your perspectives. (Note: This survey is conducted solely by me and does not represent the entire CUSD board.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our recent survey on equity grading revealed diverse views, with many favoring support for underperforming students without lowering academic standards. View the results<a href=\"https:\/\/longforcusd.com\/?p=485\"> here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June 2025, the Supreme Court issued a preliminary injunction in \u201cMahmoud v Taylor\u201d, affirming parents\u2019 rights to opt their children out of LGBTQ-themed instructional materials in schools, citing the First Amendment\u2019s free exercise of religion clause. This ruling impacts all U.S. school districts, including CUSD.
