About Me

My name is Long Jiao, a software engineer. I have been living in the Bay Area for nearly 15 years.

As a father of two CUSD students, I deeply care about our district’s education. My son recently started college, and my daughter is a 4th grader. both have thrived in CUSD schools, and I am grateful to our dedicated teachers and staff for their hard work.

I have actively volunteered in various district and school committees, and for over 13 years, I have been involved in a children’s program at a local church. In my role as the commander of the Awana program for five years, I managed curriculum design, engaged with teachers, leaders, and parents, and handled student discipline, much like a principal in a smaller school.

Additionally, I organized Cupertino Voice to inform Cupertino residents about current issues and collect their opinions using a sophisticated survey system.

My passion for education and extensive experience in serving children and community drive my commitment to contributing positively to CUSD.
